Dufry involved Smart Project promo staff to the launch of a new mobile application for frequent flyers


Dufry launches a new loyalty program called RED by Dufry. The international program RED by Dufry was specifically developed for passengers visiting duty-free shops time and again. Participants of the program are given the opportunity to receive exclusive discounts and other privileges.

As one of the largest duty-free operators, Dufry holds a 24% share of the global Travel Retail market and operates in five regions: Europe, Asia, Latin America, Brazil and Bolivia, North America.The secret of Dufry’s success is stockpiled experience and profuse knowledge in its business segment, combined with attention to the local markets specifics.

RED by Dufry is a new mobile application for frequent flyers, which gives the opportunity to get a discount of up to 10% on a certain assortment of goods in Dufry stores around the world using the unique QR code of the participant.

The official start of the program took place in Moscow 1st July, 2017. For the participants’ convenience Smart Project trained promotion staff was involved in implementing the mobile platform.

Smart Project CEO, Nadia Emelianenko, says that the modern IT solutions are extremely important for improving customer service in the Duty Free industry. “We were happy to collaborate with Dufry to bring a new digital project to life. So we offered our help in implementing an innovative digital platform. Despite the ease of use of mobile applications, our agency employees actively assist customers in connecting a new digital service.”
