Smart Project marketing agency attended a quarterly meeting of Airport Promotion Agencies Association
Hosted by Young Promotion company the meeting was held in Cologne, Germany on Friday 29 June 2018. Traditionally the agenda was heavily charged with a huge number of topics to cover.
The meeting commenced with a financial review provided by APA Coordinator. All the members agreed to allocate additional funds that could cover the costs of further Association’s website development so to maintain it up-to-date due to the constantly vibrant activity in the Travel Retail sector.
In course of the meeting member agencies finalized the arrangements of the forthcoming Cocktail Party in Cannes, which is annually hosted by the APA Association for its clients during the exhibition of Duty Free goods TFWA.
The meeting concluded with discussing the issue of data protection, which is a matter of pressing concern for almost every industry. All the members discussed possible approaches towards data protection and shared their experiences on using innovative applications in this field.
According to Smart Project’s director general Nadezhda Emelyanenko, the round table resulted to be effective. The meeting allowed all the member agencies to discuss long-range areas of cooperation and clarify the aspects that are complex to address distantly. “I find that the most fruitful opportunities come during the meetings, where it becomes possible to exchange views on most of the topic issues in the industry, discuss common goals and set plans for the future activities”, stated Nadezhda Emelyanenko.
